Frank,
Today's been one of those days when I was just locked in. I wrote over 3000 words, 2500 toward my novel and over 500 by hand.
The scenes today ranged from dramatic to intense action.
Here's a snippet:
Then I went to the back where a strategy session was happening. Li Ma was there looking focused. Kita Arata held some semblance of the same expression, while the dutiful Secretary Sato hovered close. Timeera was wiping something off of her pant leg. Everybody was sleeping because of the constant threat of cave-in.
“What’s the deal with these damn drones?”
Li responded without inflection, “They’re called CH-901. It’s a kind of loitering munition, capable of carrying a 3.5 kilogram warhead. Kamikaze drones is what they’re sometimes called.”
I'm coming up on the end of the first draft of this novel. But that comes with it's own anxiety, since I have to transition from drafting to editing/distribution.
However, I'm looking forward to start sharing the story with you and the world.
What are you writing these days?
Let me know in a reply!
