Blocks, grunts, circling. Strike. My karate was decent, his was on some Bodhidharma shit. Every fist, elbow, or kick was a whip-crack flash. Fighting him wasn’t easy. I used length to outdistance his movements, then deliver a punishing solar plexus smash. That sent him down sucking air. It was time to end him.
