## Writing (Novel) Cereus & Limnic: Escape From Okinawa - Type-B | 4 hrs - Session 1

He stepped over and grabbed my arms tight. “I did! I did! And I thought I had after we were together—”

“Thought you had what?”

“Fallen in love with you!”

He released me, then wisely backed away. I swear I heard the record say *Jinhua* as the reminder of the mustiness hit me. 

Dad played the classic matchmaker for his unwedded daughter. How traditional of him. But… that couldn’t be all. Zane was holding back, I sensed.

“That’s not the only thing you came to tell me is it? What else?”

He looked somber, but serious. “You’re right. It’s about the Janus gene.”
