I hope you enjoyed VirtuousCon 2026. Always good to connect with fellow creators and with familiar faces in the Black creative community.
Usually the last week of the month is my semi-off week. I try not to spend too much time in the seat.
But today I decided to continue the long process of adding my back catalogue to this website so new readers can get a feel for the unique way that I tell stories.
"Gates of Okinawa" is my second novel. Set in Okinawa, Japan, it's the story of a high school English teacher who's haunted by Japanese ghosts and demons. Soon her students and the whole island is in danger and she's the only one that can prevent an entire part of the map from getting dragged into hell.
I completed the preview page for this novel today. This includes not just the text for the first 9 chapters, but the audio too.
There's also 2 songs from the 12 track novel soundtrack and a special video trailer.
