It’s been a long time coming, but my Japanese is ready for it.

For the last 9 months, I mashed the gas on learning this language. I’ve grinded vocabulary, copied famous works in Japanese, listened to dozens of hours of podcasts, audiobooks, and YouTube videos.

After all that and translating my first military game tech fiction novel from English into Japanese, my skills are ready to fulfill the purpose I always had for them - to share my stories with a Japanese audience via writing and audio.

Watching this video is kinda surreal. Just two years ago, my Japanese had regressed to elementary levels. I hadn’t really used it in nearly a decade.

Now?

This. I plan to continue to fuel this positive feedback loop to become even more compelling as a Japanese-English voice actor.
