Ajani,
Bro had to do a lot of admin today, but I still got in some good creative work. How's your stuff going?
My leg's been fucked up man. You know when you get frozen in a video game and you gotta mash to get out? That's me every time I stand up. Piriformis just won't perform. But weirdly, once I get going, I can walk just fine. A punishing status effect.
This week has been just... malaise man. I did a lot (like normal) but things just parallax on by, same scenery on repeat with this shit.
Now I understand better how you feel about your business, SATA. You started it to do one thing, then it inflated, then deflated again until it just kinda hovers there.
That's where I'm at with HAC Studios.
This time last year I was deep in collab mode, helping another author publish his first novel, editing, gettin on podcasts, still heavy on social (though not as bad as in 23' and 24').
This year I'm more like you than ever. A recluse who's tried to integrate his wild-haired style with the hipness but can't rock with it. Or they can't or won't rock with me. I don't even know anymore. But I don't care as much.
More of my effort is going to building an open garden here on this website. Parts of it will eventually be walled, but right now it's free roam to let people see what I'm doing. To finally be taken seriously for all I've created and accomplished in this super-artificial age. You'll see it soon.
Talk soon.
-Keith
