I wanted to reach out and thank you for subscribing to the Digital Novelist Newsletter last month.
Being a creator in 2026 is tough (I'm sure you know!). We create daily but often have a hard time finding the right audience. That's why one of my goals this year is to engage with readers one-on-one more.

Well I did all that for nearly a decade. While I can't say I didn't get anything out of it, I'm not much further along business-wise than I was a few years ago.
The hard truth is that the old solopreneur strategy doesn't work in 2026. From here on, the only way to stay connected and grow a creative business is to be as openly human as possible.
