AI-Fueled Frenzy: From Idea to Novella in a Day | Apr 12, 2025

“AI magnifies what you know, and don't know, about a particular subject area.” - Keith Hayden
I broke a record yesterday, but wasn't even chasing it.
Personal best of most work done on a project in a single day.
At morning, I started to write a short story for social media. By night, I had a novella (12k+ words), book cover, marketing material, full distribution on most major social platforms, audio and video version of the first part, and a self-produced rap theme song.
Al did a lot heavy lifting, but it can't come up with and distribute good ideas (yet). I'll publish this one for the next week and see what happens.
No holding back.

More interesting words and phrases:

[Their tails were meaty and bald] - referring to rats
Lenz: the rat/cat killer

Completed the video version of the Introduction last night.
Also the video version of the them song "Infinite Doors."
Spent more time than I planned on these assets, but the result was good. Will get a smoother workflow soon.
The base images are AI, but it's important for me to make them mine somehow. So I added some graphic novel flair.

Cereus & Limnic: Escape From Okinawa - Full Report Rewrite
I've been slogging through this technical report section for the past two weeks, and the result was meh.
Truthfully, I was hitting one of those low points in novel writing (or any long project for that matter): I wasn't happy with the result and I was bored with the process.
Here comes that homie Claude to the rescue. I fed the entire 6K+ technical report to my faithful AI writing companion and asked for ways to make this behemoth of a tech report more interesting. In the end? It's a demonstration of a bright mind boiling to an unfortunate fevered state as he twists his head around the mystery of the drone.
I haven't reviewed the complete output, but given that I'd already researched the hell out of these very technical topics and add "Retro's" voice in before, I know it'll be bombs on target. Can't wait to read it, now!
